Dr. Sean Davis, Tooth Guy

Hello!  I'm writing this, so I'll just do it in first person.  I have teeth, you have teeth...  or maybe you don't, but I'm sure that we connect on the topic in some way.  


I believe you should watch what goes into and what comes out of your mouth.  Your whole body health is integrally related to your mouth, I want to help you make it the best that it can be.  


I was raised in Colorado.  Studied Mathematics in the heady days of my youth at University of Colorado, Boulder.  After attending dental school, I opened a private practice in Denver, Colorado.  But I thirsted, for adventure, for fulfillment, for... bitter freezing cold.  So I moved to Bethel, Alaska and worked at YKHC for 5 years, providing much needed care to a beautiful, thriving community.  My only regret is not doing my part to help control the wolf population...


Now, I've come to Dutch Harbor, to remove barriers to care and fish bones from betwixt your mouth stones.  


I hope you'll pick me to be on your team to help manage your health and help make all of your wildest dreams come true.

Dr. Park works tirelessly to ensure the practice runs seamlessly and to cultivate partner relationships.  When she has free time, Dr. Park enjoys gardening, yoga, and nature-watching.

Responsibility

We are accountable for our actions and take responsibility for the care we provide to you. We will provide you with the information you require to make the best decisions for your oral health and overall well-being. We also expect you to take responsibility in caring for the treatment we provide you, this includes showing up for your scheduled appointments and giving proper notice (at least 48 hours) when you cannot make your appointment; this courtesy allows us to see other patients in our community waiting to be seen. We pride ourselves on staying on time and expect the same from our patients. We are also responsible stewards of our environment and make conscious decisions that impact our community and environment for the better such as reducing our waste consumption, using eco-friendly products and recycling when possible.

Life-Long Learning

We continually pursue postdoctoral/continuing education courses to develop new expertise and stay abreast of advancing dental materials, technologies and procedures. Our office and clinical team members are given learning opportunities to develop their individual skills and to further develop as a highly effective dental team. This environment of proactive learning guides our relationship with our patients. You will find we are enthusiastic about sharing oral health information as well as learning from you how we can provide the individualized care you deserve. As part of our public health outreach we seek each month to partner with different organizations/companies in town to provide educational materials, oral health screenings and distribute oral health aids to members of our community. We strongly believe that oral health education and prevention is the cornerstone to building a community of healthy smiles and we are committed to laying this foundation for you and our community.
